Peak Test part numbers are made up of 3 sections:
- Series of the probe
- Head Style
- Spring Pressure
Choose your series for your application selecting the correct combination of test point size, travel, overall length and diameter of the probe barrel. Please see below for different combinations:
Series
P25 = A standard ATE push fit probe
P15/G = A threaded (screw in) probe represented by the /G
P25L = A longer version probe
HSP25 = A high current probe (a ‘X’ also represents high current probes)
Head Styles
We offer a head style chart that displays different styles such as concave heads, pointed heads and chisel heads. This section of the part number also incorporates the diameter of the head.
Spring Pressure
The final part of the part number represents the spring pressure and is represented by a number. Each series have their own unique spring pressures represented by different numbers.
Receptacles
Our receptacles tend to begin with the letter R, followed by the series. The connection then completes the part number.

R15/G = Threaded screw in version
-W = Wire wrap
-S = Solder
-C = Crimp
